A private, invite-only ordering app for approved members.

Members order in the app, which is fed by the shop's live Toast menu, then pay in the app and pick up. Access stays deliberately limited, so the app works as a controlled channel for the shop's select members.

Launching on iPhone at Edinburgh Ave first, with other locations to follow.

Your Usual

The app learns how each member orders and puts their regular drink at the top of the menu, one tap to reorder. It shows up only once it has been earned, so it behaves like a barista who remembers you. It runs on simple rules that we can adjust as we learn how members order.

Also in the app

Private accessInvite, approval and phone login. Nobody enters without being approved. Each member has a name and a number.
PricingThe admin sets each member's discount, anywhere from full price to free. Members see it as its own line at checkout.
CustomizingHot or iced (the shop can turn this off for any drink served only one way) and light or regular on syrups. The price updates as options change.
PickupAn order number, a status that starts at Order received, and an I'm here button so the shop knows the member has arrived.
HoursOutside shop hours the menu stays visible, ordering is off, and the next opening time is shown.
AdminTop-level access only. The master login controls approvals, pricing and settings.

The Toast connection

Will Toast integrate with this app, both for the POS menu and for accepting completed orders? The whole system hinges on this. Our research shows it has been done and just needs approval from Toast.

Payment. Members need a way to pay in the app. For security, card information stays with a payment company and never passes through our app. There are three routes, from ideal to fallback:

1 · IdealToast's own card fields inside our app. Toast takes and stores the card info. This depends on Toast offering it.
2 · NextApple Pay. The card number never reaches us. This depends on Toast accepting it.
3 · FallbackA separate payment company, like Stripe. This always works. It takes the payment, and the completed order goes into Toast marked as paid.

In every case the order lands in the shop's Toast as a paid order, ready to be made.

One continuous scroll. The two-part index (Drinks, Food) stays fixed and inverts to show where you are. Coffee, tea, lemonade and other items sit under small subheaders. The Usual row appears only once earned. The black bar shows the running total after the member discount.

Tapping a row opens it in place. Nothing covers the menu. Hot or iced is a choice the shop can switch off per drink for anything served only one way. Syrups offer light or regular. The price updates as options change, and selected options invert to solid black.

The gold square from the logo becomes the confirmation: one number, nothing else competing. Status starts at Order received and only moves to Ready if the shop marks it. No time estimate. "I'm here" tells the shop the member has arrived.
